I did the Lahemaa national park tour the day after Christmas. It was a day packed with activities - starting with the fiery red Jagala falls, then hiking through the Viru Bog, walking on the beaches of the fishing village of Kasmu and finally the old manor houses.
We stopped for lunch at a traditional Estonian restaurant. Annaleena was fantastic as a guide, being a biologist she threw a lot of light on the ecology of the places in addition to the history.
The group was great too and game for extending the trip with long walks. Was an absolutely great experience and would do it all over again! Kert was very knowledgeable and was a great guide of Lahemaa, having been originally from the region.
