This research explores the concept of erotic capital in the context of sex work, drawing on the arguments of Hakim who suggests that sex work can be a strategic choice for women lacking other competitive advantages in the labor market.
The study highlights how women can leverage their erotic capital for economic gain and improve their social status, while also confronting societal stigmas associated with sex work.
