Originally from Burlington, VT. The intense use of my body as a performing artist lead me to a career in massage therapy as both a flexible way to continue to be creative and help myself and others learn how to recover and better take care of our bodies.
I am still active as a choreographer, educator, and performer having shown my dance-based work in many venues across the country. I currently choreograph for Greater Boston Stage Company's the young company and ArtBarn Community Youth Theatre and create original dance-theatre work independently in the Boston area.
I worked at Be Well Boston Clinical Massage Therapy in Back Bay for 5 years before starting my private practice in Roslindale Village and I have also worked in spas, chiropractic and acupuncture offices, and medical fitness centers throughout my career. When I'm not busy with teaching and practicing movement and healing arts, I love to vegetarian cooking and gluten-free baking, drinking tea all day, simple gardening, hiking in the Blue Hills, or bicycling around the city.
I enjoy live music, theatre, and dance, and spending snuggle time with my husband A, our nine year old daughter M and toddler S, and our orange cat Mango. Tap for Directions. Liana C.
