Reports to the President of the college. Essential Job Functions. Provides leadership in economic development by implementing rapid responses to short term program training needs of community and business partners. Designs and coordinates internal and external assessments to identify current and emerging economic, social, political, and technological trends and issues that may impact the college.
Researches and prepares reports to document trends; evaluates and makes recommendations on technology, facilities, and equipment needs; and recommends staffing plans to support programs and initiatives.

Proven leadership and management experience in developing new business units. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and foster working relationships with business and industry. Knowledge of workforce dynamics and economic and technological trends. Ability to analyze and interpret complex information. Ability to develop programs, processes, and procedures to meet workforce needs.
