Micah Projects is a community based not-for-profit organisation with a vision to create justice and respond to injustice at the personal, social, and structural levels in church, government, business, and society. By fostering innovation and continuously testing new approaches, the program aims to strengthen connections between primary healthcare providers and the broader family, domestic and sexual violence FDSV and child sexual abuse service system.
It also evaluates referred patients with experiences of gendered violence, facilitating triage to the most suitable referral services with case management provided as necessary. Your role will involve engaging with medical practices through both formal and informal educational and creative engagement activities, as well as advocating for the safety, equality, and respect of victim-survivors with clinics and the sector, including direct support to the participants.
