On a clear sunny day- given good internet connectivity- people can hold virtual meetups which are almost as good as sitting somewhere in person.

From aiding isolation effects during space flights to improving reading skills in children, Canadian teachers and researchers are ready to take full advantage of the possibilities. It is exciting to imagine living in a video game where you can be whoever you want to be. But does it have to come at a price imagined by every science fiction writer? One of the reasons Zuckerberg is pumped about making the multiverse is because virtual reality is technically the rightful heir to the current version of the internet.
