For the next 60 minutes, we're going to hear from four of the Republican candidates for president of the United States--should be an interesting, informative evening. Joining us this evening are, from the left of your screen, Utah Senator Orrin Hatch.

Louis, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys and it was a great victory [ cheering ]. Once before I called them St. Louis and didn't forget about that for a long time but that shows really that Arizona beats Texas right? Maybe that's an omen. I thank all of you for being here. I thank for you honoring me with the privilege of serving you for 17 years.
I have tried to perform in the tradition of Barry Goldwater and Morris Udall and that is I stand by principle. I will conduct that same kind of behavior in the White House. I am proud to have served you. I thank you for the years of friendship and support you have given me and I look forward to tonight's debate.
