This rap sheet is posted regularly on rec. I originally had no plans to come to this show, but I made my way down there anyway despite what I did all day. And just to give you all an idea of what my day was like that Saturday, here we go.
Every year up in Peoria is the big Peoria Superfest Amateur Radio Hamfest and Computer Show that takes up an entire weekend in September and for the past several years I go up there with my step-father who's always gone up there to sell a sizable quantity of acquired stuff in the flea market.
Last year I actually spent the night with my own load of stuff, uncomfortably I might add, sleeping inside the car just doesn't work. My stepfather had a rougher night sleep, being that the cooler leaked and the interior of the van was wet and lying on a mat hurt his back. Cause of that experience he skipped this year and I had to do things differently. I am a late to bed, late to rise type of person and getting up at AM is not something I can do and be able to function the entire day.
I managed to get up at AM, drive up to Peoria, find the rented spot and sit outside all morning and try to get rid of my wares. Made SOME money this year, not a lot but more than I usually do, thanks to the state foolishly throwing away unopened software.
What I originally planned to do in the evening, depending on when I finished the sale My new 1 major pet peeve of mine are moderators of message boards deleting posts I write that do not violate any terms of use or rules. MPW has a lengthening track record of doing that, but they're not the only one who's done it to me. The point is, I do not like to be censored for no reason, and anyone who does it will get a big earful from me.
