The Buffalo Bayou Partnership is responsible for the site as well as the entire park that serves as a grand entry point to the city's premiere greenspace. The enchanting development is the result of reclaiming a four-acre abandoned City of Houston water system site.
The Water Works also serves as entry to the park's new cistern site. The partnership tapped SWA landscape designers to assist with plotting the layout while Page architects created the stunning pavilion and visitor center.
