Our campground offers a more natural type of site, near a stream and grassy areas, tent camping is also available! The Weber River, which is renowned for its world-class fishing, winds through the property, dividing to form a wooded island perfect for picnicking or family outings.
Another trout-filled stream runs through the ranch and a fully stocked, kid-friendly fishing pond is available as well; providing plenty of amazing fishing. The park allows quick access to Rockport Reservoir and Echo Reservoir, both just a short distance away. Owned and operated by Payson City. The Gladstan Golf Course presents golfers with unique challenges and beauty.
Rainbow and brown trout reach record lengths in the river, with a typical fish running 18 inches or larger. The river is continually stocked. As a result, the pristine waters of the Provo River provide exceptional fishing, recreation, and outdoor adventure! The park is surrounded by groves of maples and hundred-year-old junipers. Deer and elk abound in the adjacent terrain, making the park popular with members who like to hunt. There are hundreds of miles of off-highway vehicle trails, accessible from the campground, and more trails a short minute ride to Soapstone Basin.
We are the first RV park south of the big cities; nestled in a small, quite community. We also have tent sites with lots of shade for all those who prefer a tent. We have clean restrooms, a laundry room, and free wi-fi for our 60 sites.
