DoxyPEP is short for doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis. You take it within 72 hours after having condomless sex. Heterosexual men and women who have high-risk exposure such as having a partner with known HIV infection, sex workers, or having sex with a person at high risk for HIV.
DoxyPEP is currently only recommended for men who have sex with men, trans women and other gender-diverse people born with a penis.
