As a trauma-informed program, our clinicians concentrate on processing trauma and managing painful thoughts, feelings and behaviors, improving safety, enhancing parenting abilities, offering support, and fostering improved communication within families.

Those include Resiliency and Health Realization, social thinking and the Circle of Courage which focuses on positive youth development based on the belief of universal human needs for belonging, independence and generosity.
For most clients, the program length is from 6 to 12 months - as long as they continue to meet medical necessity. Children and adolescents in grades who have mental health diagnosis which interferes with school, home and community. Those who are transitioning from a higher level of care or those who have found less intensive services unsuccessful, would benefit from learning intensive coping and social skill training. Regular attendance and active participation are key to successful completion of the program.
All programming begins with a required Diagnostic Assessment to provide an Individualized Treatment Plan. Once accepted into the program, clients and their family receive the full benefit of all the services provided, including individual therapy, family therapy, group skills, counseling, group therapy and individual skills. Interventions and curriculum are chosen and tailored to suit the individual's needs.
We are constantly working to improve the services we offer to our clients and the mental health care they receive. Our most recent review took place in May of and our certification was renewed at that time. We will continue to evaluate and evolve the care we provide to ensure we are offering the highest quality care possible. The Intensive Outpatient Day Treatment services are available to children and adolescents in grade who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties after other therapeutic interventions have been unsuccessful and meet medical necessity criteria.
