L ucy Beaumont's new beau has been unveiled as a former sound engineer for her ex-husband, comedian Jon Richardson. The connection between Lucy and Martin Wallace is unclear, but he did contribute to Jon's Nidiot live show and is recognised for his collaborations with other comedians such as Dara O Briain and the late Sean Lock.
In April, 41 year old Lucy announced that she was divorcing her husband of nine years. The pair, who appeared together in the reality series Meet The Richardsons, have an eight year old daughter, Elsie. It appears that Lucy is now more open about her new relationship, as she was spotted leaving the Lowry Theatre in Salford, where Wallace picked her up.

Lucy and Jon began their relationship in after being introduced by mutual friend Roisin Conaty, who featured in After Life alongside Ricky Gervais.
While no explanation for the divorce has been provided, Lucy previously joked about wondering if she had "made a mistake" by marrying Jon when she criticised his obstinate personality in a resurfaced clip. The footage shows her questioning their marriage on Jon's programme Ultimate Worrier. When asked if she had any reservations about him, she responded: "I've got a lot. Sometimes I worry that I've made a mistake. The pair tied the knot in and swiftly charmed the nation, appearing on interviews, comedy gigs, and charity events as a duo.
They even presented their own game show on Channel 4 and let fans peek into their lives with the mockumentary 'Meet The Richardsons'. Posed with the question by Jimmy Carr, "What made you decided to settle? Before Jon I'd never had an avocado. We've had a lovely life together. We've had a daughter. Who knows what will happen in the future. During the show, Jon feigned shock and asked Lucy if they were "breaking up now", prompting laughter from the audience.
