Much of the food was purchased fresh from the local market and some was even grown in the backyard. As other guests have noted, Marlis goes out of her way to make guests feel comfortable and at home. As well, I enjoyed the location - within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and the lakefront. The hostess is fabulous, exudes class which is reflected in the house.
Wonderful breakfast on our schedule, with all local foods. The bed was comfortable. The hostess was very intrusive, there was little privacy.
