Does anyone know an email or contact info for Amik Run in Florida? There was a lady there who had a young colt by our stallion a few years ago and i was wondering how he was doing.
The story about this little welsh cross is kind of mind boggling. The person who owned the farm where we boarded him was and still is a big name pony trainer and breeder. We left this trainers barn for reasons i wont get into. OUr stallion had never died. This trainer went to devon the year before and told everyone the stallion was sterile and then the year after that he had died. Well, turns out that we never bred the mare that gave birth to this gelding and have no records, anywhere of such a breeding.
We know its our stallions foal because he looks just like his daddy conformationally. Last contact i had was quite awhile ago. He was eventing and had done clinics down there with folks involved with the olypics and they raved about him. OK, I did a bit of a google search and found these articles, and an email the email came from Florida Horse website. I believe that Amik Run is closed, and the owner is now in St.
