When I started my career as a financial planner, I decided early on that I wanted to do things differently so that my clients received great value and paid a fair price. I charge a monthly subscription for quality financial planning. I never accept commissions or charge AUM fees of any kind.
This allows me to stay a PURE fiduciary, always focused on the best possible outcome for my clients without any conflicts of interest. My belief is that the best financial advice comes with no strings attached in the form of commissions or referral fees of any kind. Many of the people we work with live outside of Texas. Our correspondence can be completely remote, and we can discuss whether you would prefer to work together over the phone or through Zoom.
Even my local clients often prefer to meet via Zoom for convenience. Since I do not charge AUM Assets Under Management fees and do not manage the assets, you do not need to have a minimum asset level for us to work together. I believe everyone should have access to high-quality financial planning. As a paying client, you will have a login to get access to your customized financial planning dashboard. This will allow you to reference your plan and financial aggregated information at any time.
