Smart phones, laptop computers, streaming music and movies, GPS systems, self-driving cars and fitness trackers are just a handful of things that have come to fruition over the years as technology has advanced. While many of these things make our lives easier and more convenient, one thing technology has not improved on is dating. The entire process of meeting someone, getting to know them and eventually settling into a relationship is hard, despite the continuous creation of dating apps.
For those who have spent time on dating apps, they fully understand the chaos, craziness and just all around hell these sites offer. During the show, audience members help Moore decide whether to swipe left to pass on a profile or swipe right to add it to her pool of candidates. One example of the unscripted shenanigans Moore has encountered during a show was when she matched with an IRS auditor.
While Moore had her sights set on a career as a comedic actress, something along the lines of Lucille Ball, her friends convinced her that stand up comedy was where she would shine. So, I wrote that book. For some folks, making friends even as a kid was hard, let alone trying to make friends as an adult who may be juggling a job, family, partner, finances and many other stressors of life.
