This question was asked on a Skoda forum I was on, so I thought I'd ask it here just for a bit of fun. I've mentioned here before that my family think I've had a lot, so I was a bit surprised to discover that the moderator on that forum had owned double what I've had. All my cars have been owned by me. I've never had a lease, PCP etc etc, although I used to get bank loans to cover what I didn't have in my account. Whilst on the subject, what was your favourite car of the ones you've owned?
I won't yet disclose how many cars I've owned cos I don't want this do be a competition. Over 60 years I have had about 25 different cars Corolla without a doubt the most reliable with getting the first one in Had several Toyotas as company cars.
After that Toyota Surf of which we had two. Favourite car was a '57 Ford Fairlane with a whopping great V8. I've had 42 since I started driving at 18 ,.. My early 20s was a haze of buying and trading cars regular. I've had some cars that I would give anything to own again. A sky blue Audi 80 LS was my first car, bought from my dad in '82 when I got back from the south Atlantic.
You never forget your first car I did all the servicing myself. It had a engine - if memory serves - but still went like an Audi should.
My dark olive green metallic Volvo estate also stands out - it drank fuel, but was built to last forever. Cars that stand out for the wrong reasons include a mk1 Ford Fiesta Ghia - always breaking down I have only owned 14 cars since all were mine not leased. My favourite so far I would say is my ISh.
