Cheap and easy overnight stay - but hotel very tired. Claire M. I like the idea of shared toilets to keep the price down.. The door code did not work so we had to leave our room open to go to the toilet I would definitely NOT want to be a single woman travelling alone here.
It was very industrial, years ago, we used Formula 1 with our kids and it was great, now it is a bit scary! Staff were lovely and friendly. We arrived and had to wait 15 minutes to check in to then be told there was a problem with the keys and we would have to be let in by the receptionist every time we left our rooms. This was problematic as the toilets and showers were down the corridor. The room was very unclean, as well as the toilets and showers. The whole hotel smelled like cigarette smoke.
It was so hot we had to have the window open but it meant both smoke and mosquitoes came in all night. My 7 year old son was covered in mosquito bites in the morning and his pyjamas smelt like cigarettes. The corridor was noisy disturbing what little sleep we were able to get.
Anna R. You expect these to be very basic, but you do not expect dirty walls, mould, and not to have a door key. If you need the toilet in the night you have to leave room on latch or call a phone number to get back into your room. Impossible with children. I felt uncomfortable the whole time.
