This hotel is perfectly placed for an easy 30 min walk along the sea front to the old town. The rooms are well presented and the staff very warm and helpful. We had breakfast which was very tasty and the staff were able to cook individual vegan options. The revolving bar is also a perfect way to end the day! In addition we arranged sightseeing via the hotel and our driver and guide were wonderful-friendly, informative and safe driving! The only issuee encountered were that our 3 rooms all had connecting doors to other rooms-there was no sound proofing so you could hear noise.
Also-due to a misprint on the booking form-it showed us as being 6 people rather than 3 so we had to pay local taxes for three phantom guests! Check your booking! In all other respects the stay was great! Definately would stay again.
I am not usually one who writes recommendations about hotel but the Teatro Boutique Hotel in Baku has to be the exception, Searching he various Web Sites Agoda flashed up the Teatro - a Cosy Boutique hotel with all the comfort of home except for the dog wanting a walk and the wife wanting to go shopping.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel and plan to return again in the New Year EU Project Mission. Rooms very comfortable, lovely clean bathrooms, Excellent Breakfast Feast and nice ambience in the Fifth Floor Restaurant. But more importantly good staff make a hotel and this is where the Teatro really exceeded 15 out of Easy to get taxis including London style Black Cabs.
If you want Value for Money - Choose Teatro. If you want Comfort and a really lovely atmosphere choose Teatro. I'll Be Back Well Done.. I had stayed in a really 5 star hotel Iconic hotel with nice view and very clean rooms. And most importantly great staff. Every thing about this hotel was perfect, I would strongly recommend it and definitely would be my first choice next time in Baku.
