It offers participants the opportunity to come together in a more intimate setting, get to know each other, and prepare for the big conference. The main focus of the ySPPCC is to facilitate scientific exchange between the new generation of researchers by interactive presentation and networking formats in small groups, accompanied by interesting tutorial lectures by invited speakers. Exchange information on your current research, ask questions, learn about exciting new fields of research, and most importantly, get to know each other.
The event is accompanied by snacks and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. In the so-called PhD talk sub-sessions , we want to create a space that encourages exchange beyond just the presentations: instead of speaking in front of the entire audience, during each sub-session, three smaller scale presentations will take place back to back in different rooms at the same time.
Listeners can choose to actively participate in the discussions following the talks, or use their phones to submit questions and interesting talking points to the presenters.
