Interns in this program will spend 52 weeks rotating through the Lab in preparation to become a Laboratory generalist and qualify to take the California state licensing exam. The objectives of the program are to provide the required 12 month clinical practical rotation through various sections of the lab and also provide supplemental information through self-directed didactic material to prepare Interns for the CA licensure exam.
Applicants apply to the training program by completing the employment application and uploading recommendation letters, transcripts, resume, license verification and other documents that show intent. If unable to upload documents sealed letters of recommendation or similar documents please mail to the hospital in care of the Laboratory Education Coordinator. Upon completion of training, students will take a state licensure examination.
