Follows all ultrasound and related radiology policies and procedures relative to obtaining images, ordering supplies, preparing and operating the equipment, evaluating images for technical quality, clerical function and maintaining patient records. Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies, to carry out daily responsibilities. Uses equipment effectively by anticipating patient needs and providing appropriate care. Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted Standards of Practice and organizational policies and procedures.
Maintains order and cleanliness of imaging and patient care areas. Consults with Radiology Manager to ensure day-to-day operations are in accordance with written policies and in compliance with various regulatory and accrediting agencies.
