Trago is the Original Discount Store selling , products at the best possible price. The original store was an abandoned gunpower factory called Trago Mill near Liskeard. One of the early best sellers were Russian wellies being sold for the equivalent of 12p a pair or two pairs for 22p! Soon a second store was opened in Newton Abbot. In those early days Trago traded from an Army tent. Trago has always had one unchanging motto β price, price and price!
In our next store opened in Falmouth and soon established itself as a part of the local community. Although the Falmouth store is our smallest it certainly benefits from a fabulous view!
Work on a huge new Trago Superstore commenced in on the site of a former brickworks in the South Wales town of Merthyr Tydfil. The store opened in April with 17 iconic Trago towers giving it a distinctive look! The large stores have 38 departments including carpets, furniture, DIY, lighting, fitted kitchens, soft furnishings, household essentials, camping, toys, sports, fishing, garden centre⦠stocking over , bargains!
