All opinions are my own. Before they even got on the plane to their destination the chemistry between these 2 characters were emitting pheromones to me as I read this book. Janelle was so worried about what other thinks while Rome was worried about her. The way he catered to her the whole book is so endearing and wonderfully illustrated.
In the end, an excellent read. Anticipating at least 2 more books for some matches that I want to see made with the supporting characters. To see how Janelle is loved completely and unconditionally by Rome was more than icing on the cake. Janelle is attending a wedding in Mexico for her sister who is marrying her ex boyfriend.
She needs some therapy in the mothering department for sure. It's rare you get a five star read that takes you through so many emotions but Only For The Week by Natasha Bishop is one of those reads. This book follows Janelle as she journeys to Tulum with her family for her sisters wedding who just to happens to be marrying her ex. Along comes Rome who has become one of our favorite book boyfriends to save our girl from having a terrible time.
Throughout this spicy masterpiece, Rome proves many times that he is Janelle's safe space and while he fell first, she falls just as fast. The latest edition of this book fills in some of the story gaps of what happened to Janelle and Rome when they get back home to Baltimore and their life leading up to his proposal.
