A Lynnwood man who was found dead inside his town house last month was apparently killed by a man he had recently met through Craigslist, police say. Police say it appeared Davis had been strangled about a week earlier. According to the charging documents, Davis had hired Garcia Gonzales to clean his house through a Craigslist ad, and the two men began an intimate relationship.
Davis invited Garcia Gonzalez to move into his home, but within days the relationship soured, the charges allege. Police said they found an ad posted on Craigslist on Sept. A friend of the victim told police that Davis had indicated he posted an ad and that a Hispanic man about 21 years old had responded, police wrote in the charging paperwork.
The friend said Davis told him that the house cleaner came over, the two had consensual sex, and within a few days the house cleaner moved in with him, charging documents said. However, the man was supposed to move out of the town house around Sept. On Oct.
