Many couples have been impacted. Countless Wisconsin weddings have been postponed. It was a challenging time for those that had to navigate their wedding plans during a pandemic. However, the global pandemic hit.
After much deliberation and a few too many tears, we decided it would be better to move the date to November In addition, their wedding pro team was willing to adapt and work with them to postpone their plans. They communicated with their guests and gave them the option to attend if they were comfortable. In addition, we were very mindful of the social distancing rules and CDC guidelines in executing the event. Above all, the sentiment was one of gratitudeβfor vendors who were willing to be flexible with the reschedule date, for their family and friends who were supportive, and for their health and for each other β especially amid such an uncertain time.
In the end, Amelia and Tyler had a beautiful November wedding day with a small, more intimate wedding surrounded by their close friends and family. Here are some snapshots of such a sweet day. These were trying times. I found those that did navigate it well kept an honest and open line of communication with consistent checks to each other. Because of Marsha, I was actually able to enjoy my wedding! Even though we only did the day-of coordination package, she was always available to help walk us through the crazy planning process every step of the way.
When we hired her I told her we needed a coordinator so that I wouldn't let my type A personality ruin our day and stress me out. She really delivered! I didn't worry about a single thing all day and just got to enjoy all the special moments. Our wedding day would not have been the same if she wasn't there and we are forever grateful she went above and beyond to make our day as special as possible.
