I graduated from Colorado State University - Pueblo in with my bachelors of science in exercise science, recreation, and health promotion. After graduating I spent a year exploring the world and spent several months in south-east Asia. After Graduating from massage school COVID hit, with many businesses shutting down I decided to take another year abroad, this time to Mexico where I worked in a school teaching toddlers.
After being an assistant track and cross country coach at Colorado Christian University from June to June I started my own massage business in Colorado, working with a local personal trainer and physical therapist. I have always had a desire to work with women to help them be the best that they can be for their families and community.
So after taking a continued education class in pre- and perinatal massage in October , I closed my massage studio down in Colorado and moved to Moscow, Idaho. Colorado has been my home since I was born and it was very bitter sweet moving away. But I am hopeful that my move to Moscow will allow me the opportunity to be apart of a thriving community of women having babies and caring for their families. I am excited to be able to serve this community and hopefully be apart of your journey.
My massage business, New Perspective Massage Therapy, was born out of the idea that everyone has their own perspective on life. But sometime we get so zoomed in on our own life we forget to zoom out and remember why we are doing what we are doing. When we have people in our life who can help us zoom out and gain perspective we are able to care for and continue to grow with a healthier and more balanced perspective on life.
My hope is that no matter where you are at or what you are walking through New Perspective Massage can be apart of helping you gain a new perspective on life so that you can continue to grow and thrive as an individual and as a part of community. Every session will be personalized for your needs.
