The hotel rooms for both my family and the friends that we traveled with were both unacceptable dirty and unmanaged with a number of broken, dirty, and unsanitary items. The refrigerator was filthy it had tissue, hair, and a pool of standing water at the bottom with a broken pen floating in it.
Keep in mind there were only 2 hand towels in the room and she never brought more each time I asked I was told they were short on towels and that they were being washed. Room had no smoke detector, door was broken, ironing board was broken into 3 pieces and was unusable, lights were falling out of the ceiling, blankets had cigarette burns and what appeared to be some type of glue stuck all over them.
This stay was our first at this location the stress was very draining and not our normal Best Western experience. Check Availability. This is not a four star hotel. But it is a perfectly respectable place to stay. We have stayed hear twice over 5 years. The rooms and bathrooms have always been well cleaned and set up. Upen provides a warm and helpful experience in staying in SC.
He and his wife take great pride on keeping up and improving this property. For the price - I don't think you can beat this in SC. We had our wedding hotel room block at Hotel Paradox and had such a great experience!
We looked at so many hotels in the area before deciding to move forward with Hotel Paradox and we now have no doubt that we made the right decision.
