This van provides relief from noises, lights and large crowds.
The van is equipped with air conditioning, low ambient lighting, multisensory seating and sensory tools which create the perfect safe space to regroup and decompress. We are proud to offer the GRIT Freedom Chair : an all-terrain wheelchair designed for people with disabilities who want to be active outdoors. It combines a manual wheelchair and a mountain bike, with a lever-driven propulsion system. ADA seats are indicated by signage on the seats, and box office staff can assist guests in finding seating.
A sign language interpreter is also available upon request, please contact The Amp at least two 2 weeks before the designated event to arrange this service. Pompano Beach is home to 6 Beach Wheelchair Access Points along our shoreline and have two beach wheelchairs available for public use, which make the beach accessible to our residents and visitors with physical differences!
