The villa has a fascinating history - it was built in by the Comte Duke of Valence for his mistress with whom he was very much in love, but could not marry because of her lower status.
All the wood used in the villa is from his castle forest in Valence. In they had to move out for two years as the villa was overtaken by the Germans until France was liberated again. It was chosen for its unique location where they were able to control the coastline and air-space of the Cote d'Azur. This Provencal villa with its magnificent views is a great location for that relaxing holiday and to explore all this part of the South of France has to offer.
This villa is set over two levels, in the area of Saint Christophe on a small quite closed road with direct access to the beautiful forest of Route Napoleon. Decorated with style and luxury the spacious, light and airy living room has French doors leading out to the terrace.
There are three comfortable sofas, occasional tables and footstools. The open plan kitchen and dining room has fabulous doors leading directly to the front terrace - from where the view is incredible - and to the side terrace where there is a dining table for your alfresco meals.
